I had just received my copy of Donald Verger's, 2012 Storm Calendar http://donaldverger.photoshelter.com/gallery/2012-Storm-Calendar/G0000693rnCZcitk/ at the same time that my Christmas Cactus was blooming. I couldn't help but notice the lines in the cactus blooms against the lines in the tornado. The fragile against the mighty, the light against the dark of the storm. Don was generous enough to give me permission to use his calendar cover as my backdrop to create this image. I hope you like it as much as I do.
